Almost as Scottish as Haggis, our steak pies are first rate versions of this classic dish. Our own stewing beef swimming in a luscious homemade gravy, all that's left to do is for you to pop it in your oven and watch the puff pastry top go nice and golden. A coat of egg wash and a little salt and pepper won't hurt either.
Keep refrigerated. Can be frozen for up to 6 months. Defrost for 24 hours in a refrigerator. Bake when defrosted.
To bake, remove plastic film and brush puff pastry lightly with egg wash. Reheat in a 180ºC oven for 30 to 40 minutes, until the top is golden brown and filling is piping hot throughout.
