The humble Rump steak is a very popular choice in the Balgove Steak Barn. The most affordable of our steaks, it BBQ's beautifully. Rump steaks are a little trickier to cook, though, as they tend to get a little tough if overdone. Be sure to use high heat and cook to medium rare. When done properly, the strong beefy flavour of this cut won't disappoint.
Keep refrigerated. Can be frozen for up to 6 months. Defrost in refrigerator for 24 to 36 hours until completely thawed. Prepare once defrosted.
