Harvest Feast - 9th September 2015 Thursday, Aug 27, 2015
Our annual Harvest Feast is returning on 9 September with a celebration of all that is local.
This year’s Home for the Harvest themed event will feature a menu filled with the very best homegrown, Scottish ingredients with chef, Anthony Sturge, giving an introduction to each course, explaining the origins of the ingredients. The evening will include information on the history of food in Scotland as well as the footprint our food creates on the planet and how consumer choices can impact on the environment.
The evening will begin with arrival drinks followed by a delicious 3 course menu:
Creamy roasted Cauliflower and Fennel soup
Stewed Balgove Venison with homegrown vegetables
Harvest pudding served with warm vanilla custard
The Harvest Feast will take place at 7pm in our Steak Barn, a traditional rustic barn with long communal tables and walls clad with empty wooden potato crates.
Tickets costs £23.00 for a drink and three-course meal. Booking is essential.
